Turkish company MKEK displays its new national infantry rifle MPT-76
Turkey's Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (Makina ve Kimya Endüstrisi Kurumu - MKEK) presents its new national infantry rifle MPT-76 at the International Defense Industry Equipment Exhibition MSPO 2014 which is held in Kielce (Poland) from the 1 to 4 September 2014. A first batch of 200 MPT-76 was delivered in May 2014 to the Turkish army for for testing and evaluation.

The new 7.62 mm chambered rifle is intended to become the Turkish Armed Forces' new standard infantry weapon, and has been developed under contract from the Turkish Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (Savunma Sanayii Müstesarligi - SSM) for the Turkish Army, which favours the 7.62 mm NATO round over the smaller 5.56 mm round.

MKEK MPT-76 is a modular rifle designed by Kalekalip and produced by MKEK to meet the demands of the Turkish Armed Forces and to replace its aging Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifles. After the first prototype was built in 2008 as an assault rifle firing 5.56×45mm NATO the rifle received negative feedback from Turkish soldiers testing it who reported that they preferred the 7.62×51mm NATO round which has far greater knockdown power and range.

The MPT-76 has a composite magazine made of polycarbonate material with 20-rounds capacity and high resistance. Thanks to the 7.62 mm round, its effective range reachs 600 m and the muzzle velocity 800 m/s. The rifle is equipped with telescoping, adjustable shoulder stock.

MPT-76's front sight is mounted on the gas block and features folding base. Integral Picatinny rail on top of the receiver can hosts aperture-type rear sight (fully adjustable for range and windage), as well as quick-detachable carrying handle with “see-through” channel for standard iron sights plus its own set of iron sights for short-range applications (with U-shaped notch rear sight), built into the top of the handle. Carrying handle can be easily replaced with any type of red-dot, telescope or night sight with appropriate mountings. Additional Picatinny rails on the forend permit mounting of various accessories. A knife-bayonet may be attached for the barrel, if required.

Leading Turkish company MKE brings out its BORA-12 sniper rifle
Produced to meet Turkish Armed Forces requirements, the MKE's Bora-12 (JNG-90) sniper rifle is currently being offered for export and actually showcased at MSPO 2014 International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Poland.

The Bora-12 (JNG-90) is a manually operated sniper rifle with rotary bolt action and detachable box magazine. It is mounted onto aluminum chassis, with polymer pistol grip and fully adjustable butt. Buttstock, grip, bipod, buttspike, cheekpiece and trigger pull can be adjusted mechanically for high accuracy. Bullet feeding can be made by hand or magazine. Rifle can be used with silencer and subsonic ammunition. Bora-12 rifle has two type of safety, for trigger and mechanism, and its MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rails provide a standart interface for many optical systems, such as telescopic scope, night vision system, bipod vs.

For high shooting accuracy, the buttstock has special features as cheepkpiece, buttpad and buttspike. The Bora-12 has two type of barrel : 7.62x51 mm NATO and 7.62x51 mm Subsonic. The match grade free-floating barrel provides high accuracy (0.4 MOA). The bolt is manufactured from special steel alloy, and molykode lubrication is applied to bolts for high impact strength. the bolt can be field stripped without tools for cleaning. Magazine capacity is ten rounds, with two types of magazines : composite and metal. Bora-12's effective range is 1000 m, and bullet muzzle velocity reachs 860 m/s.

MSPO 2014 Uluslararası Savunma Sanayi Fuarı
 
Orta ve Doğu Avrupa'nın en büyük savunma sanayi fuarlarından biri olan Polonya MSPO Fuarı, 27 ülkeden 500 firmanın katılımıyla 1-4 Eylül tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmektedir. Türkiye, fuara Müsteşarlığımız himayesinde 9 Türk savunma sanayi firması ile katılım sağlamaktadır. Bu yıl diplomatik ilişkilerimizin tesisinin 600. yılını kutladığımız Polonya, ülkemizin savunma sanayindeki gelişimini dikkatle takip eden ve bu alanda işbirliklerine açık bir ülke konumundadır.

ASELSAN, Polonya'da iki savunma şirketiyle anlaşma imzaladı


Dünyanın en büyük 100 savunma sanayi firması arasında yer alan ASELSAN, Polonya'da düzenlenen savunma sanayi ve güvenlik fuarı MSPO'da yoğun ilgi gördü.
ASELSAN, Polonya'da iki savunma şirketiyle anlaşma imzaladı!

Fuarda ASELSAN ile 2 firma arasında anlaşma yapılırken, ilk olarak  Polonyalı silah üreticisi "ZM Tarnow" ile bir mutabakat muhtırası imzalandı.

ASELSAN Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Hasan Canpolat ve ZM Tarnow Yönetim  Kurulu Başkanı Krzysztof Jagiello tarafından imzalanan anlaşmaya, Savunma Sanayii  Müsteşarı İsmail Demir ve PCO/Polonya firması Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Ryszard  Kardasz şahitlik etti.

ZM TARNOW TÜFEĞİNE ASELSAN TERMAL DÜRBÜNÜ

Hem NATO hem de Rus standartlarında üretim yapan ZM Tarnow ile  ASELSAN'ın stabilizasyon, servomotor, elektro-optik, hedef takip, atış kontrol  kabiliyetlerinin tamamlayıcı olduğu noktalarda üretim, geliştirme ve pazarlama  imkanlarının araştırılmasına yönelik işbirliği yapılması planlanıyor.

Anlaşmanın bir göstergesi olarak ZM Tarnow üretimi 12,7 milimetre  "anti materyal" keskin nişancı silahı, ASELSAN'ın Pithon Termal Silah Dürbünü  entegre edilmiş olarak fuarda sergilendi.

WCBKT İLE İŞBİRLİĞİ

Şirket, ayrıca, Polonya'da askeri tasarım ve teknoloji merkezi olarak  hizmet veren "WCBKT" firması ile de işbirliği yapmaya karar verdi. Kara aracı  simülatörleri ve kriptoloji konusunda işbirliği görüşmelerinin ardından ASELSAN  Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Canpolat ve WCBKT Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Artur Kolosowski  arasında bir mutabakat muhtırası imzalandı.

Bu kapsamda, şirketler Türkiye, Polonya ve üçüncü ülke pazarlarında  yeni iş alanları geliştirme imkanlarını değerlendirecek.
