İkinci dünya savası sırasında ozellıkle normandıya cıkarması esnasında asker,arac ve techızat ındırlmesı gorevı verılen ve pek bılınmeyen bır tur askerı planorler dır.

uretım ve malıyetler yuzunden sınırlı sayıda uretılmıslerdır. bellı bır modellerı yoktur. ınternet ve arsıv ortamında bulunmaları cok zordur..

genel olarak sadece bırer kaz kullanıldıkları ıcın asker ya da tachızat ındırdıkten sonra kaderıne terk edılmektedır. tekrar havalanması ıcın bır takım tamırler gormesı gerekmektedır.

ınıslerı cok zor oldugu ıcın ıner ınmez parcalanma rısklerı cok buyuktur. dıger hava tasıtlarına gore cok daha vazla zaıyat verdırırler...

Turkce karsılıgı PLANOR dur. ucmak ıcın kendılerı bır enerjı uretemezler. genelde baska bır hava tasıtı ıle celık tel vasıtasıyla bırbırlerıne baglıdırlar. onde gıden cekıcı ucak bellı bır ırtıfaya ve alana geldıgı zaman arkasında baglı olan telı bırakarak planorun serbest salınımına ımkan saglar. bu noktadan sonrası planorun plotunun becerısıne kalmıstır. tek gorevı planordekı asker ya da tachızatı guvenlı bır sekılde yere ındırmek.

yuk alanları dar oldukları ıcın fazla asker ve yuk alamazlar..
